This is one of the best ski resorts in north America

There is nothing negative to say from our Whistler Blackcomb experience. It's truly worth it to make it to this skiing mecca. I'm not surprised it is known as one of the best in the world.

On the plus side, great off piste experience, wonderful long runs, the linkage (gondola) between Whistler and Blackcomb was fast and efficient even if there was a line it moved fast. The upper alpine runs were different exciting and fun. The upscale on mountain dining experience were very nice and worth doing. They take reservations and walk-ins only had a short wait for us, but we lunch late.
On the negative side, Very crowded even on week days (this could have been the fact that the only really big snowfall was late in the season. When the upper alpine runs are closed the crowds at mid mountain were miserable ((ie 45 minute lift lines and big crowds on the slopes.

Love this place start to finish. Family, instruction. Food it’s all here but it is expensive.

Our week at Whistler Blackcomb was amazing, but there was little snow in the weeks prior to our arrival and it started raining the day we left. We didn’t have the deep powder experience we anticipated, but had a few powdery days. Spent way more time on Blackcomb than Whistler - less crowded. Had a great experience but if you have to book your trip far in advance, you might think twice before committing to Whistler. Also note that snowy weekends make for tedious lift lines due to proximity to Vancouver and Seattle - so take lessons at these times no matter what your skill level to avoid insane waits.

I feel Whistler has crappy hours during the winter. Most other mountains close at 3:30pm, where as Whistler closes at 3:00, and some chairs even earlier.
As a Canadian, it is becoming increasingly difficult to take the family on a ski holiday to Whistler. Not only is the price of lift passes high, but also the price of hotel rooms are very expensive.
All that said, the terrain that Whistler Blackcomb has to offer is second to none!

One of my top 3 mountains and boarding experiences of all time. Unreal downhill runs above the tree line.

Love how easy is to take a break to enjoy a drink, a snack, or a full meal, whitin a few steps from the lift.

This was my first trip to Whistler/Blackcomb. So fun, lots of great skiing, long runs and apres ski was super. Got the oppurtunity to do an early Dawn Patrol with Marius on tue morning after a big snow storm. Best $ spent for a great safe tour, rad powder and fun tree lines. I highly recommend Dawn Patrol! Best ski day yet!

This is my 3rd trip to whistler booked last week of Jan hoping to escape any chances of the Pineapple Express . Wrong it’s rained inches and inches of rain, it’s raining from top to bottom. Alpine lifts closed due avalanche risk bottom is mud and the middle is ice or slush. Inquired about carrying over my 4 day epic pass till next year they said no dice. I hate to say it but know if I’ll come back just too much money s to spend for these conditions.
