Snow Reporter Comments:

April 23rd 2025, 3:00 PM: Good afternoon Sugarbush sliders! The sun is shining bright...and with that, quickly melting off some of our snowpack, so get out here and enjoy the last few days of Heaven's Gate for the season while snow still permits! Tomorrow, the forecast calls for Spring Conditions, temps in the mid 40's to mid 50's, slushy sidehits, and a fresh groom on 8 of 17 open trails. We'll still be open daily through 4/27 and then reopening for the weekend of 5/3 and 5/4, but let this be your call to action: get those late-season laps in while you still can! Due to melt out, Super Bravo will be closed for the season, and we will be delegating Ye Olde Valley House as our last remaining base lift! Heaven's Gate will remain open while snow allows, but will be isolated from the Valley House side, just meaning you won't be able to scoot over to Valley from Jester like usual. You'll have to take Downspout/Lower Downspout/Coffee Run to the base of the Valley House lift. HUGE shoutout to our grooming team who is doing everything they can to push snow and keep terrain open despite this quick loss of snowpack.

Valley House is set to spin 10:00 AM- 5:00 PM, and Heaven's Gate from 10:00 AM-4:00 PM. Yesterday was the last day of the Easy Rider hike park...thank you SO much to the Parks crew and their devoted skiers and riders for an amazing season...time to hit the Warren skate park I suppose!

The Lincoln Peak Morning Uphill Route is closed due to our spring grooming schedule. However, the Gate House side (aka the Evening Route), is open and fair game for uphill travel! Additionally, all of Mt. Ellen is yours for uphill & downhill travel, besides Riemergasse (the terrain park). For our friends skinning on the Gate House side and over at Mt. Ellen, we just kindly ask that you avoid any equipment or vehicles you may encounter. Mountain operations are ongoing even after lifts close for the season! You can find out more about uphill travel at Sugarbush here.

Thank you to everyone who has tracked their vertical through the Sugarbush or Ikon App. The Descent To Rise Above has now posted over 600 million feet of vertical as we strive for our goal of a BILLION vertical feet in a single season, all in the name of mental health and wellbeing! Be sure to use the hashtag #BeOneOfABillion on social media to tell us YOUR story of why you're tracking and what mental health and wellness means to you. Or shoot us an email at communications@sugarbush.com to share your story. Your participation could win you prizes or a feature, but most importantly, could inspire others to get out and ski for a worthy cause.
