This is my local ski hill. I love the low cost, easy access, relaxed vibe and absence of lift lines. I'm a telemark skier, and I stick to the few green runs and just enjoy dropping free-heel turns with plenty of elbow room. Indoor facilities are limited, but frankly I rarely use them anyway. Lifts are slow, but hey, its a good tradeoff. A much more pleasant experience than the "industrial" resorts like Big Sky. Great Divide is a genuine Montana experience. Hope that it stays that way. Looks like they've dropped the "pay by the hour" lift ticket deal they used to offer. But hey, prices are still pretty low.
