Snow Reporter Comments: Mountain Report 4/24
7:00am Update: Cloudless, pristine skies and bright sunshine are setting the stage for another excellent day of skiing and riding. With mid-mountain temps already hovering around freezing and an expected high in the upper 40s during today’s operations, our 114” snowpack should soften quickly and offer up a full day of delightful spring corduroy. The mountain air is feeling particularly refreshing today, with just a mild morning chill and a calming stillness that should stick with us, as winds are forecast to remain mild throughout the day. Come make the most of the warm weather before a small storm system moves through our area over the next couple days.
Be Advised:
• There will be race training on Cliffhanger this morning.
• West Village Lodge is now your stop for food and beverage services. Detailed hours of operation and menus can be found here.
• Park in the West Village or Skyliner lots. Sunrise parking is now closed for the season.
• Sunrise and Pine Marten Lodges are now closed for the season. Pine Marten restrooms remain open daily.
• Our Uphill Policy remains in effect—please adhere to marked routes and signage. After daily lift operations, uphill travel is ONLY permitted on the Cinder Cone. Heavy machinery and winch cables are deployed at various locations on the mountain and pose significant danger. For the safety of yourself and our employees, respect terrain closures. Uphill Pass armbands must be visibly displayed at all times when traveling on Mt. Bachelor uphill routes, during both operating and non-operating hours.
