Grand Targhee Resort located in Alta, Wyoming, within the Caribou-Targhee National Forest is notoriously known for having deep powder combined with excellent terrain options. Located near the border of Idaho and Wyoming, Grand Targhee is situated on the west side of the Grand Tetons and is consistently hit by Pacific-born storms that stack up against the Tetons.

Where Is Grand Targhee Resort Located?
Grand Targhee ski resort is located 42 miles from Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and 82 miles from Idaho Falls, Idaho. From the Jackson Hole Airport, it takes about one and a half hours to get to the resort. It is approximately a two-hour drive from Yellowstone National Park and an hour and a half from Grand Teton National Park. There are shuttle and lift services from Jackson Hole and Idaho Falls airports.
